Description

The semi-automatic twistlock locks stacked ISO containers together without anyone having to lock them at height. A twistlock is fitted into each bottom corner casting of the container before it is lifted; when the container is landed, the lower cone engages the corner casting below automatically. To release, the release wire is pulled by hand or with an unlocking pole and the container is lifted clear. Twistlock Africa supplies two patterns: SATL-01 with a single release wire and SATL-02, a double-toggle unit with two release wires. Both fit ISO 1161 corner castings.
