The double-ended manual twistlock is the industry-standard device for locking ISO containers together in vertical stacks. One unit engages the top corner casting of the lower container and the bottom corner casting of the upper container, and is locked or released by hand with a single lever that also shows the locked and unlocked positions. Twistlock Africa supplies two proven patterns, the TL-2 and the GLS BD-A2. Both fit ISO 1161 corner castings and do the same job in service.
