Container lifting with cranes via top corner castings; used with shackle and chain/sling lashing equipment, as a set of 4.
Inserts into the top corner casting and twists to lock, with a black safety slider dropping into place to prevent accidental removal while in use — lift the slider, twist 90° and pull out to remove. As certified lifting equipment it must not be dropped and should be used only for container lifting, always as a set of four with the appropriate shackle and chain or sling. The 56-tonne rating is for a complete set of four lugs working together, not a single unit.
Container corner jack for levelling or full-container lifting; used with a 10-ton hydraulic jack, lifting each corner up to a maximum of 250 mm. A minimum of two is recommended, used as a pair to lift two adjacent corners.
