Features
  • Distributes the lift load evenly across all four top corner castings
  • Prevents racking stress and corner-casting damage from an uneven single-hook rig
  • Available for 6 m (20 ft) and 12 m (40 ft) containers — or one unit for both, chains shortened to suit
Typical applications

Crane lifts in depots and yards without a spreader bar; overhead hoist lifts in workshops and buildings; single-hook lifting where a telescoping spreader bar is impractical.

Description

Also known as a spreader frame or lifting beam, the lifting frame lets a single crane hook lift a container safely by distributing the load evenly across all four top corner castings via integrated ISO-compliant lifting lugs. Rigging a container from a single hook without one can rack the structure, damage the corner castings, or make the lift unstable. Available for 6 m (20 ft) and 12 m (40 ft) containers, and as a single unit that serves both. Every frame is designed for its application by a certified vendor and proof-load tested by an authorised testing authority before delivery; the certificate is issued for that specific unit and supplied with it. Confirm the container's gross weight when ordering.
