Midlock — automatic fixing cone

TLA-LSH-MIDL-01

Features
  • Automatic fixing — engages as the container lands, no operator at the stack
  • Locks adjacent stacks together across the gap between bays
  • Same 250/210 kN rating as the semi-automatic twistlock range
  • Classification-society approved — GL, BV and CCS
Typical applications

Side-by-side container stowage on vessel decks and in holds; rail wagon stowage where adjacent stacks must act together.

Description

The midlock sits between the corner castings of two containers stowed side by side and locks them to each other, so a bay of stacks resists rolling as a single block rather than as independent columns. It engages automatically on landing, which keeps operators out of the stack. Rated to the same 250 kN tension and 210 kN shear as the semi-automatic twistlock range it works alongside.

Operating rods
TLA-LSH-ROD-18 / -47 / -73

Operating rods

Long-reach rods for releasing semi-automatic twistlocks from deck level — three lengths covering tiers one through four, so a lashing gang works the whole stack from the ground.

Turnbuckles
TLA-LSH-TBHJ-01 / TLA-LSH-TBKT-01

Turnbuckles

Tensioning turnbuckles for lashing bars — hook-to-jaw and knob-type ends, both rated 250 kN, tightened to take the slack out of a lashing before the vessel sails.

Lashing bars
TLA-LSH-BAR-xx (see variants)

Lashing bars

Steel lashing bars connecting a container corner casting to a deck lashing point — eye-to-swivel-head-plug and knob types, in short and long lengths for first- and second-tier lashings.

Extension bars & hook
TLA-LSH-EXTK-01 / -EXTE-01 / -EXTH-01

Extension bars & hook

Short bars that add reach to a lashing assembly — knob type and eye-to-plug, both 250 kN, used where the standard bar does not make the lashing point.
