Corner castings are fundamental components for shipping containers that allow them to be connected and lifted with standard lifting equipment. These are the world standard and in combination with a standard set out dimensions creates the standard upon which all shipping container transport is based.
Meets the ISO Standard (ISO 1161) for Container Corner Castings.
There are 2 each of 4 different marine shipping container corner castings per set:
A bridge clamp is used to tighten/lock the top corner castings of containers together of adjacent container stacks. They can be used for a width 203-258mm and tightened by rigging the nut in the middle and then engaging the lock-nut to ensure that the fitting does not come loose.
Shipping container bridge clamp is used in combination with shipping container twistlocks to create a container wall, locked together both vertically and horizontally. The bridge clamps and twist locks make use of the container corner casting connecting shipping containers. Twist locks utilize the top and bottom holes of the corner casting, the bridge clamp utilizes the side holes.

The semi-automatic twistlock is used to secure two containers together. When two containers are place on each other the semi-automatic twistlock closes automatically because of the weight. The breaking load is 50t.
