10' General Purpose
The half-length dry box, widely traded in South Africa as a site store, guard house or compact plant container. Same 2 438 mm width and the same ISO 1161 corner castings as every other box in this section, so Twistlock Africa hardware engages it identically — only the longitudinal twistlock centres change.

Standard: ISO 668 size code 1D (series-1 classification); ISO 1496-1 (dry freight containers); ISO 1161 (corner fittings). Source: AquaCat Container Traders (South Africa) 10 ft dimensions page, cross-checked against an independent industry specification reference; the two agree on every external and internal figure.
Height note: ISO 668 designates the 1D at 2 438 mm external height and defines no 2 591 mm 10 ft variant — the 2 591 mm figure shown is the height as commonly built and traded in South Africa, and is corroborated by the internal height of 2 393 mm, identical to the 20 ft General Purpose. Published door widths differ slightly between sources (2 336–2 340 mm). Tare and gross vary by builder — one supplier publishes 1 480 kg tare against an 11 900 kg gross. Confirm against the CSC plate.
